In this flash web version of Happy Wheels, you play the Demo mode so if you want to play the full version, you’ll have to go to com. However, that doesn’t mean you should feel unsatisfied as when you enter demo mode, you’ll see a list of 10 maps written by other players that are highly received (4+ stars) with the least popular map having 60 votes and the most popular map having more than 890 votes.
When you begin a map, you get to select 1 of 4 characters (although there are maps that limit you to certain characters). The characters include: an old guy sitting on a wheelchair, a man wearing a vest riding on a segway, a father on a bicycle with his son at the back and a fat guy sitting on a lawnmower. Your objective is to get your character pass the treacherous roads and safely reach the end. Remember that you mustn’t let your character hit the obstacles or fall from a high place because if that were to happen, your character will suffer serious injuries like having your limbs ripped off, your head and torso smashed...
The game will require players to maneuver their character carefully, control their speed, adjust their posture for different situations when facing off against the varying challenges because there are some obstacles that when your character gets hit by may break their limbs but still allowing them to move while with other obstacles you only have to touch and it will immediately be a game over.
The unique thing about Happy Wheels is that you are allowed to make your own map with obstacles, challenges, terrains... however you want it to be for you to challenge yourself with it.
When you play the full version, you’ll be able to do things like commenting and rating in stars for the maps that you like or don’t like, watch replays of other players and even upload the maps that you made for others to play.
If you’re a fan of this type of game, you can also look in to some other games with a similar play style such as Potty Racers, Uphill Rush 2, Crazycle…
